Good Baby Box

The Good Baby Box program provides the opportunity for families of infants and toddlers to access healthy, nutritious foods early in life. For a nominal fee, participants can purchase formula, diapers, and baby care items on a weekly basis. Depots are located throughout Hastings & Prince Edward County’s so families can access the program in their own community.

What is the Good Baby Box?
The Good Baby Box program helps families stretch their dollar, reduce food costs and meet the nutritional food needs of their infants and toddlers.  Participants can choose from a variety of food and baby care items such as jarred baby food, cereal, diapers, baby wipes, shampoo, and formula.
How do I participate?
We have a Good Baby Box store at our office, located at 65 Station Street in Belleville. We also have Good Baby Box Depots throughout Hastings and Prince Edward Counties.  Payment by cash or debit only, contact your nearest depot to inquire about payment options.
What is in the box?
Each box includes 20 diapers and one item

*Item Examples: Wipes, Shampoo, Lotion, Soap, Jarred food, Cereal

How much does it cost?
The Good Baby Box costs $6.50
What brands of formula do you carry? What is the cost?
Powdered Formula (Large Cans):

  • Good Start or Enfamil Low Iron or Plus Iron Formula: $16.00/can
  • President’s Choice Low Iron or With Iron Formula: $10/ can

We support breastfeeding, too! We offer access to infant formula at reduced cost as a nutritious alternative for parents who are unable to, or have chosen not to breastfeed

Can anyone participate?
Anyone in Hastings and Prince Edward Counties with an infant/toddler can participate.
How much money can I save?
We have estimated the cost savings for a family in the first year of the child’s life would be $1,200!
