The Community Garden Program offers garden plots to anyone who can benefit by growing their own fresh fruits and vegetables. This is popular with families attempting to stretch their food dollars and with seniors and/or apartment dwellers who lack the space to be successful backyard gardeners.
Where are the gardens located?
Salvation Army Belleville Community Church, 290 Bridge Street West
St. Columba Presbyterian Church, 520 Bridge Street East, Belleville
160 Roblin Road, Belleville;
Bayview Heights Park;
Quinte Alliance Church 373 Bridge Street West, Belleville,
and St. Thomas Anglican Church located at 201 Church Street, Belleville.
Simply fill out the registration form and bring it to our office at 65 Station St., Belleville, fax it to 613-968-2251 or e-mail it to: firstname.lastname@example.org
There is no cost to participate.
Can Anyone Participate?
Yes! We welcome anyone to register for a garden plot. Our space is limited, however, so it is on a first come, first served basis.
